It’s been cold and grey in the Netherlands and in fact, it still is.
\nYesterday was an exception. Although it wasn’t very warm either,
\nthe sun was shining and my beloved and I decided – since the soccer
\nmatch that we were watching on TV wasn’t much fun – to go for an
\nevening stroll. We live on the edge of the city and within 5 minutes,
\nwe walk between meadows and woods. I took the camera with me
\nand took some lovely ‘early evening shots’.<\/p>\n

the first Quirky Dutch Summer post<\/a> went online last Tuesday, did you see it?
\nThe flickr group<\/a> is already filling up with artwork that participants made
\nusing the inspiration that was given. I myself decided to play along and work
\non the background I showed as an example. Here’s what I did with it.<\/p>\n

It’s a simple collage – using cut out images from magazines, a piece of lace
\nI had laying around, a stamp (the man’s head) and a drawn hat. The border
\nis made from paper scraps. This page is nothing deep, just fooling around –
\nget lost in the shapes and colours and play.<\/p>\n
That’s all for today dear ones. I have a sore muscle in my arm and sitting
\nat the computer, typing blogposts, is not helping… I better give my arm
\nsome rest and stay away from the computer keyboard for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n
