Some of you were a bit worried after my Friday post.
\nThat’s so sweet of you (you know who you are) but there was nothing wrong
\nwith me. It just was the end of a very busy week and when I finally had the time
\nto create, my energy was all gone. I had a beautiful half-finished page waiting
\nfor me, but somehow my mojo was gone.
\nI ended up doing nothing and felt slightly frustrated … and I went to bed early.<\/p>\n

The next day, the guys and I started the weekend with an English breakfast
\n(waaahhh … sausages, bacon, baked beans … how many calories is that?)
\nI\u00a0 hoisted me into a skirt instead of my worn home suit – which made me feel
\nall ‘girly’, and the mojo came flying in. Woohooo!<\/p>\n

I kept on going, and it’s too much to show it all today.
\nI’ll save something for my Friday post, so you won’t find ‘nothing’ again…<\/p>\n

Ofcourse I finished my week page!<\/p>\n

A little bit of this, a little bit of that…
\nI experimented with bleach (stamped on the right page) but I didn’t like
\nthe results this particular stamp gave. I do like the technique though,
\nand I learned a lot during my experiments!<\/p>\n

Last Summer, my son gave me this fabulous journal!
\nI showed the inside pages on my old blog in this post<\/a>
\n(you can also read the conversation I had with him back then)<\/p>\n

This weekend, I started working on the first page.
\nIt’s quite large\u00a0 – 25 x 35 cm (9.8 x 13.7 inch) which is nice to work on
\nfor a change. Here’s the page I made<\/p>\n

It doesn’t really show on the photo, but the black lines and doodles on
\nthe borders are made with liquid pearl pen.
\nIt’s all shiny and dimensional, and I love the effect!<\/p>\n

Oh, and I’m in love with my water soluble oil pastels!!!
\nThe pages in this new journal have a little bit of structure,
\nand the effect when I used the pastels on the page is amazing!<\/p>\n

My beloved gave me this large box from Caran d’Ache,
\nand I find myself wanting to use them all the time!
\nThanks so much love!<\/p>\n

This week, I still will be busy writing articles and there will again be little time left to create (but I got my Friday post covered \ud83d\ude09 ) After that, it will be done for a month and I have lots of plans to fill March with! More about that later – Ha, I thought it would be nice to leave you a little curious…<\/p>\n
