(that&#8217;s why I<br \/>\npicked to teach this one in the first place!) Now that Belinda finished her book<br \/>\nshe is very proud of it, and she should be! The face seems to rise out of the<br \/>\nmud and has that sort of ancient look to it. Wonderful!<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Baroque \/ Rococo&#8221; &#8211; Made by <a href=\"http:\/\/dkcreatief.blogspot.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marleen<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/05-marleen.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9284\" title=\"05-marleen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/05-marleen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"579\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/05-marleen.jpg 579w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/05-marleen-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 579px) 100vw, 579px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Marleen was inspired by the Baroque painter <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Peter_Paul_Rubens\" target=\"_blank\">Rubens<\/a>, who&#8217;s &#8216;fat ladies&#8217;<br \/>\nare famous. I love Marleen&#8217;s painting style &#8211; she managed to get the pose<br \/>\nand feel of this lady on the page (canvas?) with a few, well placed strokes.<br \/>\nThe shadows and highlights are amazingly well placed too.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a very strong painting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Cubism&#8221; &#8211; Made by<\/strong> <strong>Inge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/09-inge.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9282\" title=\"09-inge\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/09-inge.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/09-inge.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/09-inge-300x266.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cubism isn&#8217;t an easy (or much-loved) art style, but once the students learned<br \/>\nmore about the concept and the thoughts from this particular period, they got<br \/>\nenthusiastic and made the most beautiful &#8216;cubistic artworks&#8217;.\u00a0 This page is just<br \/>\none of them.
