Most of you who follow me for longer then a year recognize this logo…
\nand the story behind it. For those who don’t know, a brief history
\n(more posts will follow later!)<\/p>\n

From Christmas to New Year,\u00a0 the Radio 2 team presents the 2000
\nfavorite songs of the listeners. Music! 24 hours a day!
\nA few years back, in the slipstream of the top 2000, I started my
\n‘top 2000 blog party<\/a>‘. I created art every day inspired by a song
\nfrom the list. Everyone was invited to play along and create to
\nthe music – and I posted all the submissions on my blog.
\nWhat succes it was! Even the top 2000 people picked up my ‘party’
\nand came to film me, the video can still be seen here on youtube<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This will be the fourth year that we will have this artful and musical
\nblog party, and I know for sure that a lot of participants look forward
\nto it as much as I do!<\/p>\n

More information and ‘rules’ will be posted on my blog once the
\n‘official list’ is out… but that list should be composed still… and that is
\nwhere today’s blogpost comes in!<\/p>\n

The voting for the new top 2000 list 2012 has begun!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Vote for your fave songs from November 16 – November 23<\/em><\/p>\n

I made a ‘tutorial’ for all my English-speaking fellow-artists who want
\nto play along… the fun starts right here as you can now vote for your
\nfavourite songs to get in the list! The highest ranked 2000 songs will
\nbe played on the radio\/Internet in the last week of 2012.<\/p>\n

Look at the images below to see how it works – then go to the
\nTOP 2000 VOTING WEBSITE<\/a> and find your fave songs to vote on.<\/p>\n

When you have your list complete, click on ‘vote’<\/em><\/p>\n

The top 2000 team knows there are people voting from abroad!<\/em>
\nTo get rid of ‘typical Dutch’ fields, fill in your country first.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nUnited States of America (USA) = ‘Verenigde Staten’<\/em><\/p>\n

The next page, after you clicked ‘send’, is a survey.<\/em>
\nYou better skip it…<\/em><\/p>\n

Last page (pfew!) but it holds an important message.<\/em>
\nTo confirm your vote<\/span><\/strong> you will have to click the link<\/span><\/strong>
\nin the email<\/span><\/strong> that is sent to you!<\/em><\/p>\n

Go to your inbox, click the link in the email and your vote will be confirmed.
\n(“Thanks, your vote has been confirmed.”) There’s also a link on the site that
\ntakes you to your personal list – the songs you voted for – when you click on it.<\/p>\n

Voting is possible until November 23.<\/p>\n
