Spoiled rotten!
Thank you for all your birthday wishes dear friends and readers!
I had a relaxed, easy going day with my two men last Saturday,
and I was spoiled rotten! Look what my sweetie bought me!

Aaaah – a video camera!!!! (or is it called “cad cam?”)
Whenever I wanted to make a video-tutorial for my online workshops,
I had to borrow the camera from my neighbour.
It became quite annoying, for her as well as for me, but now I have my own!
I don’t know how to use it yet – my beloved knows ’cause we spend
the weekend making movies for the upcoming workshop – so I was
in front of the camera showing techniques…
And my dear son is a genius in picking presents – he bought me this!

He never asked what I wanted
for my birthday – he just
dived into the bookstore and
from all the books that are
for sale there, he picks THIS
from the shelves!!!!
HOW COOL!
And how WELL he
knows his mom!!!!

And yes, don’t worry,
there is some creativeness
in this blogpost too!

Here’s a card I made last week for my dear friend Lenny.
She had a very special birthday this year (Congratulations again ma belle!)

I mailed her the card in this envelope.

Week #39

I got some very nice birthday cards last week.
I decided to save them in my journal so I added an extra page
and I sewed a few bags to put cards in.
The card that is glued on to the right page I got from Lena.
She’s really the queen of collage!

This week, I will be working full time on my workshop lessons
for Mixed Emotions. Now that the writing for CmF is done for a while,
I can put my mind on writing the lessons and making examples.
Michelle and I are speeding up the pace so we get everything ready
for you in time. If you subscribed to the newsletter: expect one in

Gave kado’s heb je gekregen zeg. De camera is super! maar dat boek dat Nout heeft gekocht, Wow!!! Dat hij nou “zoiets” koopt. Je zei eerst dat je nooit zo goed bent in kaarten maken maar ik vind ze er altijd geweldig leuk uitzien. Net als Lena’s kaart! Super toch als zoiets in je brievenbus valt. Succes met Mixed Emotions!! Ik wil graag inschrijven maar ben bang dat ik er deze keer niet genoeg tijd voor heb….. Ik wacht op de sneak peek. Mijn week is niet echt goed begonnen!!! Ik heb een flinke griep gekregen. Blèh!!!!!!! Omdat ik weinig fut heb ben ik maar achter de pc gaan zitten om wat blogs te bezoeken. Klein voordeeltje……….

I am so sorry that I missed your birthday but I wish you a very happy belated one!!!!!!! I have the card that you sent me last year up in my studio and just love it! So glad that you had a super birthday – love that camera and the book – it’s just perfect. Your card and pages are so beautiful and so totally you, but a you that is even more abandoned with color and expression – it’s just wonderful to see and to enjoy. Hope this is a fantastic year for you!

Ben heel benieuwd naar de sneak peeks. Zit nog steeds te twijfelen of ik meedoe of niet. Ligt niet aan jouw workshop, die zal zeker weer geweldig zijn. Ben alleen niet zo zeker van het feit dat deze workshop geschikt is voor mij…

What a great present. If I had a camera and you didn’t have one, I wouldn’t care how often you borrowed it, but that’s just me.

leuke cadeaus! ik ben eerder dit jaar bezig geweest in ‘how to be an explorer’ en hoop er binnenkort mee verder te gaan. En een digitale videocamera is zeker handig voor je lessen!
