Another Art Journal page
Before you all start screaming and shouting and mail me about how MARVELLOUS this is, I have to tell you: this is NOT one of my pages!
I was kinda stuck with the
journaling on my own Art
Journal page I was working
on this weekend, so I googled
around to find inspiration…
and this is what I stumbled
over. Got fascinated right away! It is made by
Nancy Baumiller, and when
I found her blog I was in
oooohhh and aaaaw for a long
time. She has a gallery filled
with wonderful art and there
is so much to see and read on
each of her Art Journal pages
that it will take weeks to
explore all that. Pay her a visit, and be amazed!!!
Nancy’s way of journaling inspired me to do something similar, and so I finished yet another page in my Leonard Cohen Art Journal.
This page goes with the song “If It Be Your Will”
And nope, that’s not me (I wish! Look at that flat belly!)
It is a picture cut out of a magazine…
I also used gesso, acrylic paint, ecoline, spray ink and gel pens.

I also finished an other lay out this weekend, but I can’t show you yet….
Not until Friday (= Lotusday, remember?)
Monday, the start of a new week and I’m puzzling over a “C-photo” to send to the A to Z photo blog… I have a lot of “C-words” in mind, but haven’t decided what it will be yet. I’m also still looking for an A-photo…
Ooh well, there’s time. Right now laundry comes first!

Wowza! Your “If it be your Will” page is spectacular! I love that white lettering along with the white outlining on the figure. What cool poetry in the song too!

I love the look of this, Marit. Also the blog you found is amazing! So colourful. I think I need some art lessons; I just don’t have a lot of the stuff I see people using, I’ll have to send you an email and pester you for details! x

Wow…super gave page in je art journal!De journaling is super..helemaal geweldig!Als ik dat zie wil ik ook heel graag beginnen met een art journal…moet mijn spullen maar es uit de kast halen…je werk is heel inspirerend!

WOW Darlin’. That page is awsome. I thought you painted the picture of the woman, not that it was a cut out. You did a really great job with this. Your art is really moving in a new direction, and it is beautiful!
