Freewheelin’ Friday (#17)

I’m sorry I am so late with writing my post today,
were you waiting for me already?

I had a busy day – not much freewheelin’ for me –
but I am here now and I got some things to show you!

Time flies and there are only 3 weeks left before the
online workshop Let it Loose starts again.
There’s still time to register and to make you a little more curious…

…here’s another sneak peek!

..

And do you know what/who this is?

Teehee…
I’m not going
to tell you – yet!

I’m working hard
to get everything
in order for my
new online
workshop
A Creative Art Journey

and this painting is
just a little hint…

It’s going to be awesome!!! Each lesson concentrates on a specific art period
but don’t be afraid you will have to read and study a lot… oh no… I just
point out the characteristics, show you some highlights and each lesson is
packed with prompts inspired by the art from that specific period.
It’s all up to you which prompt(s) you choose and which techniques you use
for your layout. Or art journal page. Or digital layout.
Yes! Even digi scrappers will find prompts in each lesson to work with!!!

Every time I write another lesson my hands start to itch to go work with it
on a page myself so that’s a good sign, isn’t it?

And of course I DID make pages for the workshop.
Here’s a sneak peek for “A Creative Art Journey”

Got interested?
This online workshops starts May 7 and you can register here.

..

And yesss – I have been Scrapping the Music again!!!
The song was “Footloose” and I made this art journal page using
some words from the lyrics.

I used some pages from my “camper guide” … did I tell you my mum found me
a very thick and heavy “camper guide (it weights about 5 pounds!)
She bought it in the library where they sold “written off” books and it is filled
with an enormous amount of camping sites in the USA and Canada – addresses
and brief description – and there are some maps in there too… I sometimes
read in it but most of all I LOVE to tear those pages out and use them!

The silhouettes are my own legs (printed and cut out from a pic in three
different sizes) which I sprayed with Tim Holtz spray ink in different colours
and the alpha’s are cut out from a magazine.

I think I’m starting to love my spray ink again.
I moved away from it for a while, getting bored by those bottles and wanting
to use other materials, but now they’re back on the table! YAY!
Maybe I will play with it some more this weekend – Sunday that is ’cause
I have other plans for tomorrow…Β  maybe I’ll tell you about that next time.

What are your plans for the weekend?
Whatever you do… enjoy!

Je t’embrasse!
