And what a party it was!

Did you visit my mad tea party? (See former post if you missed it!)

HOLY COW… the list of participants was almost endless, and I still
haven’t visited all the tea parties and blogs…
I try to work my way down the list, but it will probably take a week
to visit everyone and read their posts – and you will understand
I can’t sip tea all day – there are other things that keep me busy too.

Real busy.

Like, “two-people -in-da-house-working-hard-on-it” busy.
“New-website-new-look-new-name-new-logo-two languages” busy!
It won’t take long now before I can show you – another week maybe?

..

Anyway, on to some creativity…

..

The page in my weekly art journal (week 25)

Can I see you reading my journaling already?!
Yep, it's readable. I didn't blur the text this time, it would ruin
the image completely but I can assure you there's no secrets on this page.
And sorry for you English speaking friends - my weekly journal is in Dutch.
On this page some things that happened last week and a quote/poem from a
famous old Dutch poet.

..

And more Dutch… it seems this is going to be a “Holland post”!
(shall I say something about the WC Soccer then? Mwaaah, better not…)

I got this award from Maja – thanks sweetie!!!

..

“The world of blogging is amazing.
Trough blogging i made friends of
places i have never heard of before.
I experienced kindness and caring.
I hope my blogfiends will pass
this award to only three caring
and kind people from anywhere
who touched your heart”.

..

Well, you ALL touch my heart in one way or the other, but I decided
to pass this award forward to:

Angéle
(for “putting things in motion” last year! I’m still grateful!)

Chris
(for faithfully visiting my blog and for always finding the  perfect words to
describe what I was feeling while writing it… now that’s special isn’t it?)

Afiori (Maria Thérèse) a lovely lady from Sweden who I discovered while
visiting blogs for the mad tea party. She makes the most amazing pictures
which she sells in her shop. Sure worth a visit!!!

..

And I leave you with more links – in case you get bored this week 😉

Teesha Moore – How come I never saw this lady, her blog, her work before?
Where have I been? Thank you Lena, for sending me the address of her blog.
I could spend hours and hours dwelling there… the art she makes is amazing!
I guess you all heard about Teesha before, but I had not and discovering her
art gave me a lot of inspiration and a real boost last week!

1001 journals – which is the follow up of the 1000 journals project
“The 1000 Journals Project is an ongoing collaborative experiment
attempting to follow 1000 journals throughout their travels. The goal is
to provide a method for interaction and shared creativity among friends
and strangers.”

If you are interested in art journaling in any way (and there are a lot of
ways to art journal!) I highly recommend you take a look and maybe you
even want to participate in a group or be on the list for a traveling journal.
But even if you don’t want to register… looking at all the art that floats around
there is inpirational!!! Have fun!

Je t’embrasse!

I am gathering advice and wisdom from all over the world – to add in a mini
album I’m creating for my son to give to him as he graduated highschool ánd
turns 18. What would you say to him? What advice would you give to a young
adult, stepping into a new life phase? All quotes, suggestions, advice, poems
and so on are welcome! Mail me before July 1 or read more about it here.

Thank you for the award and I will do some thinking about to whom I want to pass it. Your pages always inspire me – you have a very special way of combining the visual and the verbal to express emotions, sensations, places, and music. Loved your Mad Hatter Tea Party post and I too am trying to visit as many of the Partiers as I can. Have a super week!
