Nooo… it’s not my birthday today (that was on October 2nd)

But look what the mailman just dropped off at my place! 🙂

As a birthday present my friend Lena let me choose some stamps
at VivaLasVegastamps and she ordered (and payed) them for me!
She had to laugh when they came in, and she didn’t quite understand
why I choose that “astonished boy”.

To be honest – I can’t explain either…
I just kept on going back to that particular stamp and I kinda fell
in love with it. He makes me giggle somehow.
Don’t you think that stamp would do great on a collage?
Dress him up with woman’s clothes and high heels…?

Changes are that you will see more of him on Friday!

Thank you for all your birthday wishes dear friends and readers!
I had a relaxed, easy going day with my two men last Saturday,
and I was spoiled rotten! Look what my sweetie bought me!

Aaaah – a video camera!!!! (or is it called “cad cam?”)

Whenever I wanted to make a video-tutorial for my online workshops,
I had to borrow the camera from my neighbour.
It became quite annoying, for her as well as for me, but now I have my own!
I don’t know how to use it yet – my beloved knows ’cause we spend
the weekend making movies for the upcoming workshop – so I was
in front of the camera showing techniques…

And my dear son is a genius in picking presents – he bought me this!

He never asked what I wanted
for my birthday – he just
dived into the bookstore and
from all the books that are
for sale there, he picks THIS
from the shelves!!!!

HOW COOL!

And how WELL he
knows his mom!!!!

HAPPY (NON)BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!!!

Oh-my-oh-dear….

I really thought today was  my friend’s (and co-teacher in the new workshop!)
birthday… but I learned yesterday that I had the date all wrong.
It was August 21 – Bummer!
I planned this birthday post to show you the card I made for her birthday,
and send you all over to Michelle’s blog to cheer… and now I’m too late 🙁

But HA… I know it’s her HUBBY’S birthday today, so there’s still celebration
going on in the LaPoint-Rydell house… YEAY!

Apologies for being absent on your (and my) blog last week…
you know it’s HOT in the Netherlands (98 degrees today!) and upstairs,
where the computer is, temperature rises even higher!
Not only I can’t stand it – my computer can’t handle it either (he’s almost
ready to retire) so most of the day I let him rest and cool off….

But this  morning he will have to work a bit ’cause I will give you a little
update on last week before I let him sleep again… He better work with me!

♥♥♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!  ♥♥♥

The days fly by and this week is already gone!
I’ve been a little absent last week. On my blog that is…
Not on my community though! This week, my “students” got access to
my workshop community and there is a lot of activity overthere 
(although the first lesson won’t be uploaded ’till Monday)
I was present on an introduction video which I made last week and it took
me quite some time to make it. OH MY was I nervous! I HATE hearing my
own voice… I had to shoot 80 “takes” before I thought it was “kinda” right,
but at least I did it, and the ladies in the group seem to appreciate it!
(Hi girls! Thanks for the nice words!)

Anyway, on to the freewheelin’ random stuff today…
