I’m BAAACCKKK!!!

OK, that was probably a bit light-headed (and with a hoarse voice,
followed by a huge coughing fit) but I’m soooo glad the virus I had
is decreasing. I have more energy every day!
I even dared to plan a trip to the scrapbook store in Heesch
this Sunday to spend my birthday money.

On to business
’cause it’s
Friday and the
new Lotus Paperie
challenge #146
is up.
As you may
have noticed,
the challenges
variate from
random challenges
to sketches
every other week.

This week Vanessa
provided us with
this sketch.

I don’t often scrap with a lot of photo’s, I’m not the “floral type” and
my head was fuzzy, but once I got the idea for the layout and started
working on it, I had a fun time!

And as the seasons
come and go…

The past few days, it was all about Harlee Quinnz Degins!
We worked so hard, the Design Team made a lot of layouts with those
fantastic paperlines (as did I, but more about that in a minute)  and my
beloved and I helped their web mistress to put the shop and blog online.

The website itself will be updated too, but the shop is now online so
you can get those wonderful papers and stamps yourself… also, the
Harlee Quinnz Design Team blog is all set to go… some layouts are already
uploaded in the galleries and the posting will start soon.
Make sure you take a look, and come back for more every week!

In between, I found time to create this little harmonica album…
(There will be a tutorial about how to make this on the
Harlee Quinnz Designs blog in the next couple of weeks,
I’ll keep you posted on that…)

It’s made with
Harlee Quinnz
paper & stamps and
I wrapped one of
their fibers around
it to keep it closed.
The colours go
soooo well
with the paper,
don’t you think?

I’m an elf… a star…. a….

…of course, I’m just a woman.

But sometimes
a romantic woman…

…and when i saw
this image
I reacted
immediately
by thinking:
“deep inside,
that’s me
blowin’ bubbles!”

I found out this image is a stamp, and that stamp is sold by a new company
who’s lines (paper, stamps and lots more) I fell in love with right away…
To start this fairy tale: that company was looking for a bunch of designers
to be the first ones to work with their paper lines….

… and to make a long story short (and fairy tales always end with
“and they live happily ever after” don’t they?)

I’m so proud to announce that as of today
I am a “Design Star” at:

A small company, only just begun selling their first crafting lines but
MY OH MY, do they have some marvelous stuff!!!
(Click on the logo to check it out!)
