“Uprising” – do you know that song?
My son is a huge fan of the band “Muse” and he’s going to see them live
in Nijmegen this summer…
When I went with my son to a school event recently (there was music,
plays and speeches – the theme was “seven sins”) the evening started with
a “big opening” in which this song was played.
The way the “actors” played on this song gave me shivers down my spine.
It is such
a strong
song with
marvelous
lyrics so
I made an
ATC with
this song
for “ATC
the Music”
I used some
acrylic paint,
sprayed a
silhouette
and wrote
the lyrics
in white on
the background.
..

And here’s
another ATC,
just for fun.
I used an old
scrap of paper
from my stash
for the back-
ground and
distress ink to
ink the edges.
I got the stamped
image from
Glenda and
I used my new
copic markers
to colour the
image.
ATC’s don’t take a lot of time to create and I love making them in between.
I’m at the computer most of the time you know, working on the new workshop
AND YESSSS
I HAVE A SNEAK PEEK FOR YOU!!!!!
In fact… I have two sneaks, one for each workshop.
Sneak peek for the workshop “Let it Loose”
And take a look here to see finished pages from former participants!
..
Sneak peek for the new workshop “A Creative Art Journey”
Registration for both workshops is open and you can find all the info on
the website. It’s going to be so much fun again!!!
If you follow the blogs of, for instance, Jeanet – Jenneke – Jocelyn – Michelle
(to name just a few) you’ve read how much they loved the Let it Loose
workshop so I can easily say you won’t be disappointed taking one!
Freewheelin’ – it was today… it’s the end of the afternoon already!
My son just came home from his last “test day” – he had to make tests/exams
all week. Overall, it went well. At least he said so…
In just a few months, he will graduate and he will become a “student in
Artificial Intelligence” at the university of Nijmegen in September.
Eeeeekkkk, my son will be a real student then!
He’s planning to look for a student room but we all presume that it will
take a lot of time to find one (there’s a lack of students rooms) so he will stay
at home the first months and travel to Nijmegen by train every day.
Which, by the way, I don’t mind! Being an “empty nester” sounds so old…
(But I guess I am *teehee*)
Well, and that’s it for today. Weekend starts here!
I wish you all a very happy Easter weekend. Enjoy and don’t eat too many
eggs!!! See you all around next week!
Je t’embrasse!
