Word Up #40: ENERGY

November 26, 2008 By Marit

I had some ideas for the word Revlie* came up with for OLW.
(*Revlie is one of the members of the creative team on OLW, she’s a
Dutch scrapper and her work is often published in Scrapmagazines in the Netherlands.)

I submitted some of my plans to my son, and he was especially excited about one idea. He had to be the photographer and we had much fun during this photoshoot!!!
It all started in front of the mirror in the bathroom….

After that, we went straigt to the socket in the hallway
(and YES,
we did turn down
the electricity,
so I wouldn’t get fried…)
Here is one of the photo’s he took – imagine the fun we had during this photoshoot!

And here’s my layout I made for challenge #40 ENERGY

And some details…

For the title, I used some sort of paint in a tube (meant to use on glass to make leaded windows)
I don’t know the name, but it stays on top of the paper. It looks “energetic” and it’s just perfect for this layout.

In the corner, I folded the background paper and used sandpaper to get this “flash of lightning” effect.
