Hello my FEMALE friends!<\/p>\n

Yes, I’m almost sure you are all female… do you think men
\nwould write a post like this one<\/a>, about hair and hairdressers?
\nAnd do you think other men would\u00a0 comment on that with their
\nown experiences as much as you all did? Ha, I don’t think so!<\/p>\n

So goodmorning, my straight and curly haired female friends,
\nI’m glad you stopped by again! (And if you happen to be a male visitor,
\nyou’re very welcome too! No talking about hair today, so come on in!)<\/p>\n

What DO I talk about then?
\nWell, for instance, the meeting I had yesterday.<\/p>\n

A while ago, Thinkie<\/a> send me an e-mail that on September 20 she would be
\nin the neighbourhood. She asked if I’d like to meet with her somewhere
\nand we agreed that I would pick her up at the station.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It’s weird to meet
\nsomeone you only
\nknow from the
\nInternet.
\nI recognized her
\nfrom the photos
\non her site.
\nBecause we read
\neach other’s
\nblogs it was like
\nmeeting someone
\nyou “know” and yet
\n“don’t know” at
\nthe same time.<\/p>\n

It was a funny feeling, kinda like meeting a familiar stranger.
\nThe weather was marvelous yesterday. We sat outside, had coffee
\n(hot chocolate for Thinkie) at a terrace and talked a lot.
\nI didn’t bring my camera because I was convinced Thinkie would
\nbring it. And ofcourse she did! (Thanks for the photo dear!)<\/p>\n

She also gave me a cute little card – which you will see popping up
\nin my weekly art journal next time!<\/p>\n

And there we are again: weekly art journals! Who’s started one?
\nI know Peggy did, and some other women were talking about it.
\nWell, come on you gals, just START! I highly recommend fiddling
\naround on a page, try techniques, write a short (or long)\u00a0 text about
\nwhat happened that week, glue all the pictures you like in it and play
\nwith it in a spare moment between cooking and doing the dishes…
\n(Yes, I keep my journal and my pens in the living room so I can grab
\nit if only just for a minute!)<\/p>\n

I LOVE the big postcard my parents send from France. I got it on Monday and
\nI decided to make my pages for this weeks in “grey area”. It was partly because
\nMarsha from Tumble Fish Studio<\/a> had a challenge about it too, but I knew
\nalready I wouldn’t make it on time. The deadline was Saturday and I always
\nfinish my pages on Sunday. But still… I went with the grey theme on this page.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I used tape to attach the postcard. I wrote a nice quote on the page
\nwhich becomes visible when you flip over the card.<\/p>\n
