\nI did show you prompt #16 “Moment” last week and this week
\nI made a page for prompt #17 with the word “Childhood”.
\nThis prompt was based on photos (no techniques)<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\nthis photo was printed on white cardstock.) I journaled the beautiful
\npoem by Rainer Maria Rilke in the original language (German)
\nbut here’s a translation in English:<\/p>\n
\nyou try to find words for something so lost,
\nfor those long childhood afternoons you knew
\nthat vanished so completely -and why?<\/span><\/p>\n
\nbut we can no longer say what it means;
\nlife was never again so filled with meeting,
\nwith reunion and with passing on<\/span><\/p>\n
\nexcept what happens to things and creatures:
\nwe lived their world as something human,
\nand became filled to the brim with figures.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nand as overburdened by vast distances,
\nand summoned and stirred as from far away,
\nand slowly, like a long new thread,
\nintroduced into that picture-sequence
\nwhere now having to go on bewilders us.<\/span><\/p>\n
