Hi there friends!
\nJust a quick post today…
\nIt’s late in the afternoon already, and I’m longing for
\nsome relax-time after a hard days work.
\nHard work – yep, but FUN!<\/p>\n

I’ added some finishing touches on the last lessons for the
\nMixed Emotions workshop. The workshop started October 22
\nand it is a huge success. It makes me happy to see all the students
\nmake marvelous pages and having fun with the assignments!
\nI published some of their work in the Public gallery<\/a> so you go there
\nand take a look!<\/p>\n

(By the way, you can still join the workshop.
\nRegistration will be open until November 9.

And what did I do last weekend?<\/p>\n

Well, ofcourse – I finished my weekly art journal page!<\/p>\n

Week 43<\/strong><\/p>\n

I had a bit of a “dip” last Thursday – when I made the basic for this page.
\nDoes it show?<\/p>\n

I’m glad it was just one day, but the sentences on the right refer to
\nhow I tried to come out of it – I added those strips on Thursday.<\/p>\n

I do hope the page for this week will come out more bright and happy,
\nbut I think it will ’cause look what the mailman brought today!<\/p>\n

Michelle<\/a> is not only the most marvelous co-teacher to teach a workshop with,
\nshe also is my dear blogfriend and she knows me through and through when it
\ncomes to creating! She made a special package – just for me!<\/p>\n

OHMYGOODNESS… look at that!!!<\/p>\n

See those Graphic 45 “Halloween Alice” papers? It’s about 10 of them
\n(yes TEN!) I was drooling over those when I first saw them on the Internet,
\nbut I didn’t have enough budget to buy me those.
\nAnd now I got 10 cute little pieces to play with!
\nThe hard part is.. the backside is as beautiful as the front!<\/p>\n

And SHARPIES… she send me two POSTER PAINT SHARPIES!!
\nI’ve been dying to try those, and I have holes in my shoes from going
\nfrom store to store in Holland… nope, they don’t sell those here.
\nI wanted to try one before I order a whole bunch of them online somewhere…
\nand now I can try them first!!! (In fact, I did already! They work marvelous!
\nI’m a Poster Paint Sharpie fan now!)<\/p>\n

And have you seen that bright orange fabric?
\nMy fingers itch to go play with that – a precious little and fun art journal
\ncomes to mind…<\/p>\n

And did you notice Elton John grin at the top of this photo (it’s such a
\ngroovy image – and I remember Michelle made a layout based on this!)<\/p>\n

And did you see the “true story magazine” – my weekly journal will be
\ndancing with retro images!<\/p>\n

See the gaffer tape?<\/p>\n

See… oh, I know you can!
\nCan you tell I’m in heaven?<\/p>\n
