I went RETRO, yeah!!!
\nThe Creative Type came up with\u00a0this “prompt” (as they call it):<\/p>\n

“For prompt 10, we are taking it Retro. Choose a font from whatever era it may be that you dig and create with it. Make it bold, make it colorful, make it anyway you want, but be sure to use the retro font that you chose.”<\/em><\/p>\n

and retro I went!<\/p>\n

I decided to take it back to the years I was an adolescent, the seventies.\u00a0
\nI found the box filled with my old high school diaries in the attic.
\nAaaaahhh…<\/p>\n

I spend hours reading in it,
\nmy son laughed over the\u00a0slogans I wrote in it and
\nboth my loved ones tried to recognize the numerous\u00a0
\n“seventies pop heroes” on the pictures…
\n(I used to have “de POP agenda” – the “POP diary”)<\/p>\n

We sure had fun!<\/strong><\/p>\n

And then I started creating!<\/p>\n

\u00a0The title says “HE SAID HI…<\/span>“<\/span><\/p>\n

For the black words in the title, I used a typical seventies font called\u00a0“Wunderland”.
\n\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\nI copied the
\nlogo from\u00a0the\u00a0
\nPOP diary to create\u00a0this “HOI”
\n(meaning “HI”)<\/p>\n

By using\u00a0foam dots\u00a0I added
\nsome dimension
\nto this word.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nDetail:
\nfor the star behind “HOI” I used some sort of paint in a tube. (The paint is\u00a0originally meant to use on glass to make leaded windows)
\nI don’t know the name, but it stays on top of the paper.<\/p>\n

\nsilly pictures
\non the squared background paper.<\/p>\n

And this prompt got me all into retro now….
\nI started a lay out for “Scrapping out LOUD!” already, and the picture I want to\u00a0use on that goes waaayyyyy back in time, long before I was born even!
\nSo check out my blog in a day or two (due day for that challenge is monday) and my LO should be\u00a0on it! See ya then, je t’embrasse!\u00a0<\/p>\n
