\nIt was good for a laugh though, ’cause he called me and said he was honoured
\nthat I loved him th\u00e1t\u00a0much\u00a0to send a card already, and that he couldn’t wait
\nto see what next week (the correct date) would bring… heehee<\/p>\n
\nbut I made it a tiny little one (“inchie”)<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\nAnd I made a
\n“normal size”
\ncard for my
\nmum too,
\njust for fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nyou see both

\nfor my mum,

\nand how she’s doing now. That’s so sweet of you all!
\nSo I will\u00a0update you with the latest news… she’s home!!!<\/p>\n
\nLisa is my 17 years old niece, she lives in Canada with her dad (my brother),
\nmother and brother. On April 17th she\u00a0had a major car excident\u00a0and it wasn’t
\nsure if\u00a0she would\u00a0survive…\u00a0I wrote a\u00a0post about that<\/a>\u00a0on April 20th.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\nShe had a broken neck,
\nbroken back, broken ribs,
\nfractured elbow, her arm
\nand wrist\u00a0were broken
\nand\u00a0other minor injuries.<\/p>\n
\nshe went in a coma.<\/p>\n
\nin that first week…<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\n… and this one’s
\ntaken one Month
\nlater!<\/p>\n
\nextremely well,
\nconsidering
\nher injuries!<\/p>\n<\/a>
\nAnd now she’s standing on her feet again!
\nShe’s home, but will stay handicapped:
\nher left (under)arm and hand are paralyzed
\nand she’ll have to learn to live with that…<\/p>\n
\nand neck, and that gear has to stay there ’till
\nthe bones in her back and neck healed properly.<\/p>\n
\nand she’s doing well, despite of the fact
\nthat she can’t do much more then watch
\nt.v. or read a book…
\n(She also\u00a0gave me permission to publish
\nthese photo’s on my blog.)<\/p>\n
\nRight after the accident, she received cards from a lot of people,
\nbut after some time – and\u00a0since she’s home – the mail dried up a bit…
\nI\u00a0would love it if she’d receive\u00a0some more\u00a0cards – especially now that
\nher 18th birthday is coming up – so if you’re willing to send her a postcard,\u00a0
\nshoot me an e-mail (see column on the right of this blog) and I will\u00a0return
\nyou her address!<\/p>\n
