The moment

\nfor this week’s
\nchallenge #132,
\nI knew I was
\ngonna use\u00a0it
\nto make a
\nmini book.\u00a0
\nIt’s been too long
\n(since April)
\nthat I made one!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Maybe “mini” book
\nisn’t the right word…
\nIt’s BIG!\u00a06 x 12 inch!<\/p>\n

It turned out rather
\nsimple but funky.
\nI messed around with
\nmy spray ink on
\nglossy photo paper and
\nthe effect was amazing!
\nDeep colours and
\na glimmering shine.<\/p>\n

For the journaling,
\nI got inspired by
\nBethany <\/a>who made a
\nlay out about her son
\ngetting older.<\/p>\n

This book only has\u00a03 thick cardboard pages! (I\u00a0glued the photo paper on with\u00a0book binding glue) I stamped the\u00a0text with Stazon ink:\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Hi there handsome
\nwhen did my baby boy
\ngrew up to be
\nthis tall handsome young man
\nDid I blink?”<\/span><\/p>\n

A bit sentimental?
\nMaybe so, but my son turned 17 last Sunday\u00a0–
\ntherefor I’m allowed to feel melancholic, don’t you think?!<\/p>\n

Lately, my son gets a little embarrassed seeing his face appear all over the Internet and me calling him handsome all the time… so I won’t scrap him for a while. (Uhhhmmmm, maybe a baby photo?)<\/p>\n

OK, this was my take on the sketch.
