Teehee…. the new Lotus Paperie challenge #135 just went on line,
\nand this week it’s all about finger paint!<\/p>\n

When I saw\u00a0the challenge,\u00a0I went looking for the most difficult and confusing
\n(Latin) synonym for the word I had in mind to use\u00a0as\u00a0a title.
\nJust to tease you!
\nI giggled when I found it.
\nI imagined your faces would look like this when you read the title. \ud83d\ude15<\/p>\n

Am I right?<\/p>\n

Rhypophobia\u00a0= “fear for dirt”
\nuhhhm, I found out later: fear for a very DIRTY dirt
\nI should have used “Automysophobia”
\nbut the lay out was already made
\nOh, well
\nnever mind.
\n(…still giggling…)<\/p>\n


\nYou see, the sneak peek I published earlier were my hands covered with paint!<\/p>\n

Ooh, I had fun making this!
\nI covered the (orange) background paper with gesso first…<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

A THICK layer
\nof gesso.
\nIn the top corner
\nit almost looks
\nlike little waves…<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

…and after that I went wild.
\nI sprayed ink.
\nI let paint drip from the bottle.
\nI\u00a0let paint drip from my hands.
\nI used my fingers to get the marble effect.<\/p>\n

\nI used a lot,
\nI mean A LOT
\nof paint.
\nAlmost
\ntoo much.
\nIt started
\nto crackle
\nwhen it dried.
\nI used gel medium
\nto protect it
\nand to brighten
\nthe colours.
\nI love the effect!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

My son took the photo of my hands.
\nI flipped through the pages of old magazines to\u00a0collect the title.
\n(That took a lot of time by the\u00a0way, ’cause I started reading the articles…)
\nThe subtitle is made “the Revlie way”<\/a><\/p>\n

So… was it a colour boost or not?!!
\nI thought you could do with some happy colours to start the weekend!<\/p>\n

So now it’s your turn again.
