\nWRONG! I can’t sing!!!
\nI’ll translate the (Dutch) journaling and you’ll know all about it….<\/p>\n
“Just turn on the radio on a station that plays old music (before 1990) Played with my new spray inks here… I bought two kinds of blues last Sunday I love messing around with my spray ink! I had some trouble with this following card….<\/p>\n You know, I told you about “Get Sketchy<\/a>“??? \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I really don’t know why, but whenever I start working on a card, I just “block”. This one is kinda nice.<\/p>\n Mwaaah… I think it’s The word “Sterkte” means something like “hold on” or “be strong” \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I still have some prompts for\u00a0the “Book of Me” on my to do list. I’ve also\u00a0shifted my to do list – and put something else on top\u00a0’cause I won’t say which number we are\u00a0now\u00a0(but if you’re real curious, you could OK. This was it for today. I’m off to cook some dinner now. Je t’embrasse!<\/p>\n

\nand right from the first tones I know the song including\u00a0the lyrics!

\nI used the “Top 2000 list” from an old morning paper as a background.
\nThe mask is also Tim Holtz and the music pages (left and right)\u00a0are from an
\nold book with nursery rhymes.
\nI cut the “radio” from Cosmo Cricket paper and the little notes (stickers)\u00a0
\ncome from my stash.
\nThe title is made with rub ons (same ones\u00a0as used on this layout<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\nThis is a challenge blog\u00a0that highlights\u00a0a certain technique every Month\u00a0
\nshowing examples, tutorials etc.\u00a0 This Month is all about spraying and
\nmisting\u00a0and even though I know my way around with spray ink,\u00a0I find it
\nvery informative and inspiring!<\/p>\n

\nWell, Ang\u00e8le dared
\nme\u00a0to make a card…
\nand since a good
\nfriend of my mum
\nis ill, I thought of
\nmaking her a card\u00a0
\nusing this “Get
\nSketchy” sketch.<\/p>\n
\nIt’s weird, ’cause when I work on a mini book with the same measurements,
\nI have no problems at all.
\nI\u00a0think I just have to accept that card-making is not my cup of tea…!<\/p>\n<\/a>
\nI started over
\n3 times!!!
\nReally!
\nThe first two
\nwere FAILURES!!!
\n(in capitals, yeah!)<\/p>\n

\nIt’s something you put on a card to wish someone well.
\nI cut out handwritten alpha’s and used that as a mask to my\u00a0spray ink.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/a>
\nThe technique

\nIt’s super easy
\nand gives a lovely
\nthree-dimensional
\nlook! Read a
\ntutorial about it
\nhere<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\nI skipped a few (didn’t like those prompts) but there’s four more to make,
\nand there’s still one coming up every day until August 31, so I’m sure
\nyou will see more pages coming on my blog soon!<\/p>\n
