For those who didn’t know already, I worked on a “Book of Me”
\nthroughout\u00a0August. On the Cocoa Daisy<\/a> forum there was a
\ndaily “BOM challenge\/theme” to make pages for your own book
\nand if you did them all, you ended up with 31 pages…\u00a0
\nI skipped some challenges along the way ’cause I didn’t like all the
\nthemes,\u00a0and now I’m almost done with my book.<\/p>\n

Still two pages to make (maybe three,\u00a0after today’s challenge is posted
\nand I like the theme) and I want to make\u00a0one “last page” myself, but
\nsince the rest is done I\u00a0made the cover last weekend.<\/p>\n

\nThis had to be
\nMY BOOK, so
\nI chose my
\nfavorite materials
\nfor the cover.
\nPaper from an
\nold encyclopedia
\nand spray ink in
\nmy fave colours!
\nI hand wrote & cut
\nthe title to\u00a0use as
\na mask. It simply
\nsays “I”<\/p>\n

\n<\/em>I put transparencies in between the pages on which I traced some
\nthings from my handbag, the\u00a0third photo should make it clear…<\/p>\n

    Next\u00a0BOM page (August 25)\u00a0was about travelling.
    \n“What kind of travelling do you love? Camping in the hills?
    \nA Beach Holiday? where have your favourite destinations been?”<\/em><\/p>\n

    I almost skipped this one, ’cause I don’t like to travel (I wrote about it
    \nwhen I listed “facts” about myself, at the end of     this post<\/a>) but then
    \nI remembered I still have some left-over photo’s from the one vacation
    \nI really, really liked – the trip I took with my friend Lena to Edinburgh
    \nin 2006. (I call it\u00a0our “Bay City Roller Memorial Journey”)\u00a0<\/p>\n

    And the last page I made:\u00a0(challenge on August 26) “scrap about your blog”<\/em><\/p>\n

    \n“After years of scrapping on my own (and buying a magazine from time
    \nto time) I discovered\u00a0the huge online scrapworld. It didn’t take long before
    \nI was hooked\u00a0on the scrap blogs and online challenges… but to\u00a0participate
    \nin\u00a0those\u00a0challenges I had to have an online gallery – so\u00a0I chose to start\u00a0my
    \nown\u00a0blog. My “boys” helped me establish my blog and galleries, and as of
    \nNovember 11th 2008, I’m online. I enjoy it ever since!!! I made a bunch of new
    \nfriends and\u00a0I can’t believe the amount of inspiration that’s flowing, the things
    \nI’ve seen and learned and the way my work developed through all this!”<\/span><\/p>\n

    When I looked at that last page –\u00a0about my blog –\u00a0I decided it’s time again
    \nto change\u00a0the header. I’m a bit bored with it… and since my birthday
    \nis coming up I plan to give myself a new blog header!!!
    \n(Teehee, some present… I’m gonna have to make it myself – but I will give
    \nmyself the time to play with it!)<\/p>\n

    I’m also working on\u00a0a “1000 comment present” but I can’t show you yet.
    \nI suggest you just keep on leaving me comments (I LOVE COMMENTS!!!)
    \nso that we will reach the 1000 soon, and maybe I’ll publish a little sneak peek\u00a0
    \n(to tease you and make you eager…)\u00a0of what I will be sending to the one person
    \nwho will leave\u00a0the comment #1000 on my blog…<\/p>\n
