Alice in Wonderland keeps popping up on several blogs due to the movie,
\nand you all know that I’m in love with Alice since I participated in the
\n“Alice Journal Swap” (Haven’t seen the movie yet – it’s released this week
\nin the Netherlands – but I’m going to see it with my son soon!)<\/p>\n

Anyway, I had Alice in mind when I started playing in my art journal…<\/p>\n

…but something else came to the fore when I worked on it!<\/p>\n

I guess the yellow brick road nested in my brain last week, and pushed
\nAlice aside – My page turned into a yellow brick road!!!<\/p>\n

And because there was nothing worth while watching on television in the
\nevenings: more zentangle pages!<\/p>\n

I love playing with my black marker (I had to buy me another one last week,
\nthey don’t last long when I start doodling!)<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
For this page, I printed a photo from “henna hands” as an example.
\nIt was a fun page to make and I keep on asking myself: how would this look
\non my own hands?<\/p>\n

\nYesterday, I had a
\nspare moment and
\ndidn’t want to get all
\nmy stuff downstairs
\nto start a big project
\nso I made an ATC
\nfor ATC the Music<\/a>
\nusing the hitchhiker
\nstamp from Las
\nVegas Stamps and
\none of my fave
\nsongs “The long
\nway around” by
\nthe Dixie Chicks.<\/p>\n
I coloured the stamped image with pencils.
\nI would prefer using markers for this, but I don’t have a “skin colour
\nmarker”and I didn’t want her to be orange again! I will have to buy
\na copic marker in skin colour soon! (I would love buying MORE copic
\nmarkers but the budget doesn’t allow me to buy the full range…!)<\/p>\n
The workshop “Let it Loose” is coming to an end. Yesterday was the
\nlast lesson – about binding the pages into a book – and Michelle
\nwas the first to finish her art journal.
\nShe published photos on her blog today with a recap of all the pages
\nshe made with the lessons. It’s fun to see all her layouts together,
\nso go take a look on her blog!
\n<\/a>(BTW: Let is Loose will start again on May 3, info on the website<\/a>)<\/p>\n
In between all the creative outbursts, I cleaned the windows and
\nthe kitchen cupboard… YAY! That means a free Saturday to spend
\nwith my glue and papers… On Sunday my aunt & uncle from Zeeland
\ncome visit us so I’m looking forward to a nice weekend!
