And\u00a0 ofcourse I show what I made for their latest challenge!<\/p>\n

But ofcourse I’ll show my take on the prompt on my blog too:<\/p>\n
Here’s the original photo I used (yep, that’s me on a windy day on a Dutch
\ndike in 1986). Not a very good photo, but it fitted for what I had in mind.<\/p>\n
..<\/p>\n I used a picture of a real The title is written ..<\/p>\n And here’s the layout.<\/p>\n I used a (basic grey) background paper that shows a sky with clouds, .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n Do you want to have a change to be a guest designer at Gutter Girlz too? ..<\/p>\n Tomorrow (Monday) the national exams start on all the highschools in I’m sure he will get good grades but Nout (and his mum!) can certainly And to all the other teenagers taking the exams (and their mums & dads) Je t’embrasse!<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/old-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/01_foto_origineel.jpg\" "\\"01_foto_origineel\\"")

<\/a>I edited the photo in
\nphotoshop. I tried some
\ndifferent filters and ended
\nup with one that gave the
\nbitumen of the dike a
\n“weathered look”.

\nto cut the shape and an
\nold marker to draw the
\nshadows. (It’s a black
\nmarker but it hardly
\nwrites anymore – it was
\njust perfect for this!<\/p>\n

\nbut just vagely and it hardly shows on this picture anymore (you still
\ncan see some clouds on the right of the pedestal)
\nI hand stitched the “swirls” and used markers for the journaling.

\nthe Netherlands. My son hopes to graduate! He studied sooooo hard
\nand he still isn’t done yet. The exams take two weeks and I’m pretty sure
\nthe upcoming weeks will be filled with nerves, books, study and stress…
