… <\/strong>in 10 days!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t be afraid, I won’t let you all down but I decided to quit facebook
\non May 31! You probably know I’m on it for about a month now, because
\nmy “A Year in the Life of an Art Journal” group moved from ning to facebook,
\nbut the facebook-group doesn’t really add something new…
\nI post my AYITLOAAJ-pages already in a Flickr album and on my blog and
\nI noticed the facebook-group does not really add anything to that.
\nSo why stay there?
\nWhy stay on facebook anyway (something I was never planning to do
\nin the first place.)<\/p>\n

And then I read THIS<\/a> last week, and I saw a documentary about it
\non television, and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back…<\/p>\n

I’m OUT on QUIT FACEBOOK DAY<\/a><\/p>\n

So if you are my “friend” on facebook I will “unfriend” you…
\nIf you want to speak to me you’ll have to come to my blog or e-mail
\nand I’m sure if you call yourself my friend you will STAY my friend!<\/p>\n

It’s the ultimate

\n“My fave book”.<\/p>\n

(Nooo, the Bourne Identity
\nis not my fave book,
\nI just thought it was a
\nfunny line to go with
\nthis picture!)<\/p>\n

I did read the Ludlum books
\nthough… I used to read a lot!<\/p>\n

And my favorite book?
\nI really couldn’t say… my bookcase is filled with favorites!!!<\/p>\n

I’m so glad the sun sets much later this time of year ’cause it means
\nthat I can create here in the evenings!!
\nI used those extra hours to play along with Scrapping the Music
\n<\/a>I grabbed my “Music Art Journal” (remember that?) and had a blast!<\/a><\/p>\n

How could I not?
\nIt was a song by one of my favorite bands: The Dixie Chicks.
\nSuch a happy song!<\/p>\n

Some days, you gotta dance!<\/p>\n

The background paper is basic grey, as is the torn piece at the bottom.
\nI wrote the title with a black sharpie and red copic marker on yellow
\ncardstock and the rhinestones are from my stash (several brands)<\/p>\n

The photo is a stockphoto… but it could have been me in that picture!
\nIn the Summer I wear similar skirts and I always walk barefoot!<\/p>\n

\nIt’s FUN, and my son and I are going to try this ourselves!
\nAs you can see on the photo from my bookcase, the bottom shelves
\nare filled with old record sleeves. No doubt there must be some funny and
\ngorgeous images to use on there!<\/p>\n

The sun is shining and the temperature’s rising today!
\nI have some more work to do, but I might catch some sunlight on my face
\nin the late afternoon… it’s about time I get some colour on my legs too.<\/p>\n
