<\/a>I traded my very first ATC-card!!!
\nIn an earlier post (20 November) I wrote about making them, but I never traded any before…\u00a0and now I have the\u00a0first of what hopefully becomes a collection of ATC-cards in time!<\/p>\n

I traded my card with Carmen, the daughter of my good friend.
\nShe just turned 12 and she\u00a0(obviously\u00a0– look at her card) is\u00a0a big fan
\nof\u00a0“the Jonas brothers.”
\n\"\"<\/a>I\u00a0learned that\u00a0it’s a very popular boys-band although I never heard\u00a0their music.
\nBut hey, I’m a whole lot
\nolder and\u00a0I don’t\u00a0keep up with whatever happens in the music charts\u00a0anymore. My son is in his teens, but he\u00a0likes\u00a0“old”\u00a0(sixties and seventies) music so\u00a0he’s not up-to-date\u00a0on this topic\u00a0either. Anyway, Carmen’s card was full of the boys, as you can see, and she has a scrap album\u00a0about them too I believe. Which reminds me of the time\u00a0when I was that age…\u00a0
\nI had scrap albums of MY favourite boys-band.\u00a0It was called\u00a0a “teeny-bobber-band” back then and the “lads”\u00a0came from Scotland.<\/p>\n

\u00a0My heroes (don’t laugh!) were the Bay City Rollers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Didn’t\u00a0they look cute?
\nThey never had great hits in the Netherlands,\u00a0and nobody knows them anymore,\u00a0but they were BIG in America, so all you out there in the USA surely have heard of them.
\nI still\u00a0keep those
\n7 (!) scrap albums\u00a0in a box filled with “Rollerstuff” somewhere.\u00a0After all,\u00a0it’s a big part of\u00a0my youth!<\/p>\n

\u00a0OK, enough about boys-bands – back to the scrapworld.
\nI finished a “Christmas layout” I made for the latest ScrapMojo challenge, and will write a post about it (with extra detail-pictures) soon. ‘Till then, you’ll have to do with the smaller picture under “most recent layouts.”
\nSo check this blog again in a few days, I promise you some great detail-pictures of the LO! (And, by the way, is there anyone who wants to trade ATC cards with me? Please leave a comment!)<\/p>\n
