You will learn several methods and mixed media techniques to create beautiful and meaningful pages that are totally &#8216;you.&#8217; Each page of the old book &#8216;asks&#8217; for its own technique, therefore the mixed media techniques and materials to use differ. Depending on the content of the books, various art journal techniques will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials &amp; supplies (provided)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An old book with hard cover<\/li>\n<li>Supplies &amp; materials to alter and bind the book into a &#8216;new&#8217; journal<\/li>\n<li>Mixed Media materials &amp; supplies (paint, ink, watersoluble crayons, collage-images etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Extra (beneficial) tools &amp; materials such as paint rollers, brushes, glue, heat gun etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Things to bring with you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Permanent markers and pens of your choice (at least a black and a white marker,) scissors, glue (preferably a strong gluestick) and, if you have one, a heatgun.
