It’s celebration day because WOYWW (What’s On Your Work desk, Wednesday) is celebrating its seventh anniversary. WOYWW started out as an idea by Julia from the UK and she had never ever thought of this ‘mad thing’ growing so big and lasting that long. I joined the fun party in February 2013 (see this post) and have been part of the group ‘deskers’ ever since. The inspiration, fun and support that is shared in this group is just wonderful!
On ‘celebration day’ a lot of deskers make one (or more) ATCs (“Artist Trading Cards”) that we swap with one another, and I too created a few cards. I’ll show you in a minute but first the photo that shows what WOYWW is all about: my work desk.
WOYWW #364 – The 7th Anniversary
See that tripod? I’m waaaaay happy with that!!! I was looking for a way to hang my video camera above my workspace, so that I can make videos (tutorials) of my creating process. To see if we could find ‘something that might work’, my beloved and I visited the second hand store yesterday and there it was: a tripod with flexible legs! My bureau lamp is a very old fashioned, sturdy one (you can see it on the photo) and will probably hold the tripod with the camera. I can bend the legs of the tripod around the rod of the lampp and that way have the camera above my desk… we will try it out today. And now for the extra happy part… I payed one (1!) euros for the thing!!! Now is that a bargain or not?
And here’s the ATCs I made to celebrate the WOYWW 7th anniversary… I created six of them. One ATC will be send to the desker that comes next to me in the link list, one will be send to the person that is before me in the list and I will keep one for myself, so I have three more ATCs to swap. Marit your ATc’s are incredible. I no longer participate in Swaps as I have several boxes from my swapping life of journal, ATCs and post cards. WOYWW has been a marvelous journey so many talented people and so many ideas and classes. it is so very different and non commercial.
Well have to run and sort out a few messes in my room.

Gorgeous! That tripod sounds like a bargain. Sometimes it’s fun to scour charity shops looking for just that kind of bargain.
