Another week flew by…. woyww #440

November 8, 2017 By Marit 21 Comments

Goodmorning lovely ones… yet another week flew by and thank you all for visiting my desk last week. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to visit you all back but I will make it up to you – I will visit as much blogs and desks as possible today. That’s a promise!

My desk shows an art journal spread in the make…

WOYWW #440

The big “Grandes Chaleurs” journal (11.8 x 18.9 inch) lays prominent on the desk. I started the spread yesterday by putting gesso and a few scraps of paper on the pages. At the end of the afternoon I glued the ‘faces,’ painted the bodyshape and stopped right there not knowing what to add next. I hope to work on this some more today.

To the right, you can see my Chronicles art journal. The page is waiting for me to add text and then the spread for week 44 will be finished.

And here’s the spreads from the weeks before

The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 42

(The green text: “Did you see that? Another day just flew by…”)

The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 43

OK sweeties, that’s it for today – I wanna leave some time for you (and me!) to visit the other desks too so I’ll keep this blogpost short. Enjoy your day.

Thanks for visiting me earlier and for your lovely comments. I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to call by on yours the last time you commented…but I must say it wasn’t my hubby who painted the picture of our dog for me but it was a local artist….maybe the details was lost in translation?
I love what you’ve been busy with….such a lot of work on that page.

Hi Marit. Oh my goodness. I don’t think I could manage one journal – and you have several on the go at the same time! How do you do it??? And to keep your desk so neat and tidy as well!
    Take care. God bless.

Your journals are spectacular. Week 43 is really interesting and I love the black and white figure. My new computer is so sensitive I am forever correcting and alas the change from Microsoft to all Google is like a war zone!

Love your journal pages, both so different but equally eye catching.
Even though your desk is busy it still looks very tidy, a place for everything.

Hi Marit, I don’t know if I could be disciplined enough to keep a weekly journal as you do, but i love your weekly pages. Maybe I’ll give it a go in 2018 (I do have a journal that I could use for it ready to go). Thanks for your visit. Sarah #27
