Goodmorning all!
After two weeks filled with (Christmas) lights, good food & wine, music (Top 2000) and noise (fireworks on New Year’s Eve) it’s back to business now… Last weekend I finished the last spread in my “Chronicles 2014” art journal and bind a new journal to use this year. I will show you the new art journal next time, today I publish the last two weeks in last year’s journal. Enjoy.
The Chronicles of Marit 2014 – Week 51

The Chronicles of Marit 2014 – Last page
Ever since I started “The Chronicles” (in 2010) I took a photo of myself on (one of the) last days of the year, to glue on the last page in my journal.
My son visited us last week and I wanted to have a picture of the both of us… but I almost forgot to take it. It was already dark when I remembered – and he’d planned to take the train back home that evening – so we had to use the flashlight to get a good photo. The flashlight kept on reflecting in my glasses, so I took them off. (I do have new glasses you know, and they look good on me, but you’ll have to wait for a good photo.)
I hope your first week of this year was a good one.
Remember to keep creating…!!

I love the idea of a photo at the end of the year – what a good looking pair! I especially like your last week of the year – the quote and figure tell such a story!
