It’s been seven weeks ago that I published my Chronicles art journal pages on my blog. Now you may think that I have a lots of weekly spreads to show you then but no… I’m a bit behind with creating in my Chronicles (2 weeks to be exact) and also, I don’t want to overfeed you with spreads. Today I show you three pages that I made last month.
The Chronicles of Marit 2015 – Week 26
There’s something I have to tell you about the next two spreads (week 27 & 28.) If you are Dutch you can of course read the journaling and will understand why images of breasts show up on both pages; for all English speaking peeps: in week 27, a preventive x-ray photo was taken of my breasts. In the Netherlands, all women over 50 have to get a preventive x-ray to see if everything is alright. In week 28, my doctor gave me a call to tell me they ‘found something’ on the photo. “A shadow” he called it… and I had to make an appointment with a specialist in the hospital right away. Panic set in but I could go to the hospital a few days later already for further investigations and everything turned out to be alright, no breast cancer here, phew!

KELLY (KellySCreativeDreams )
Congratulations Kelly (I sent you an email girl.)
It’s nearly weekend and I plan on working on the ‘messed up’ canvasses (see former post.) I bought me a new pot of white acrylic paint yesterday and might just smear it on the canvasses and start over… or maybe leave some underneath layers visible. I will go where the canvas leads me. After all, it is called ‘intuitive painting.’ 😉 I wish you all a wonderful weekend. Splatter some (white) paint!

Phew, no cancer – that is some awesome news. You scared me for a while there. Love your chronicles project, you are a rock star on making those each week and being so consistent with them. I totally admire that, and wish I had that kind of stamina.
