Sunday morning. The rain is pouring down but I sit warm and safe in my atelier. After a busy period; weeks full of appointments and activities elsewhere; I now finally have time to withdraw and give space to my creativity. Let me start with a blog post in which I show the art journal spreads I created over the last few weeks, because I have actually kept that visual diary – that I call Chronicles – going in between my busy schedule. It often became ‘quick spreads’ and the work is not equally focused on every page but hey, that’s life.
Chronicles: Week 38
Chronicles: Week 39
Chronicles: Week 40-a
Chronicles: Week 40-b
Chronicles: birthday spread
Chronicles: Week 41
Chronicles: Week 42
With all the social media around people hardly keep blogs anymore and I must admit, I don’t write much on my blog either… I publish my art on FB and Insta and every once in a while I put it on my blog. That’s mostly for myself I think, I keep it as an ‘archive’ to look back on ánd there is of course the annual Top 2000 blogparty at the end of December – this blog is buzzing then…. as I come think of it: thát is a reason to keep this blog up in the air and in a few weeks it all comes to life again, yay! I wonder, are there any persons still reading blogs? Thanks if you did come over to mine, enjoy your day!
Yes, still blogging, still sharing, still reading & looking. Love your quick spreads!
