It seems an awful long time ago that I made the art journal spreads I am about to show you… and maybe it is. It all depends on how you define ‘a long time.’ Week 3, 4 and 5 in my Chronicles are from last month and that is (more than) 5 weeks ago already – it’s about time I show these to you.
The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 3
Remember the Woman’s March? {OOPS, I only now see the 02 on the page – February – needs to be 01}
The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 4
I cut the image of the woman with the bird from a magazine but didn’t write down the name of the artist that made it… and I cannot find it back. If you know (or are) the artist, please let me know so I can give credits.
The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 5
It is not very visible on the page, but the background on the lower part of the spread is a ‘sandy beach’ stamp I bought in week 5, together with the shells-stamp. These stamps are big (13 x 13 cm, 5.12 x 5.12 inch) and I think I will cut the shells-stamp in smaller pieces.
I sit in my atelier dealing with ripping coughing fits and a cotton wool-head. After more than three years the flu has discovered where I live now and has come to find me… well, “flu” may be too big a word for it, but I can feel the mucus come from behind my eyes when I blow my nose, so a cavity-inflammation is in the make. I hope it won’t come that far as I have a busy week laying ahead of me and a sinus infection is not invited!
Thanks for visiting me today, I really appreciate that you still visit and read my blog!
Have a lovely, HEALTHY, day.

Beterschap Marit! Ik volgende jouw blogs en maakte me al een beetje ongerust dat je geen nieuwe blogs had gemaakt…
Ik vind de afbeelding van de vrouw erg mooi, weet ook niet wie het gemaakt heeft.
Hartelijke groet,
Aukje
