Goodmorning lovely ones, I’m back this week to say hello and show you my desk. It’s been a few weeks… I got back to work at the Zeeuws Archief and being at work three days a week means that all the other things I want/need to do gets stuffed in the left-over days… that usually doesn’t leave room for visiting other blogs so I skipped the weekly WOYWW posts – but although I still am busy (writing a new art journal workshop – in Dutch only) I think I can find some time to visit the other deskers this week so I join the woyww-tribe this week. I hope you are all safe and healthy still, and I’m curious to see what you’re all up to.
There’s not a lot on my desk, I spend most of the time at my computer last week ánd in front of the tv, watching the Tour de France (with a thrilling final stage on Saturday!) I took the desk photo on Sunday and you can see my Chronicles art journaling laying there – I worked a bit in it and I made a postcard for my parents, that’s all that the desk saw from me last week.
I do have some older spreads to show you though…

Last Monday my parents celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary and I created this card. I found a picture in a magazine of a couple laying in bed, and I had so much fun painting my parent’s faces over the models’ faces… they even look alike! Hi dad! Hi mum!
Card for my parent’s wedding anniversary
Today is my last day of the week that I am at work (ain’t it marvelous that I can call ‘playing with glue and japanese paper in a restoration atelier’ work?!) but I hope to visit my online desk-blogfriends later this week. Enjoy your day, enjoy whatever you do and see ya soon!
How good to see you Marit. Love the card you made for your parents anniversary. It was my parents 56th anniversary last Saturday but I am not visiting since school returned as I see too many children a week to risk it. I didn’t watch any of the Tour but the final time trial sounded very exciting on the radio. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
What a great card for your parents!! love the Chronicles pages too – always good to see them. Happy WOYWW Helen #3
Always lovely to see your chronicles Marit but you’ve brought a massive smile to my face today seeing you Parents Anniversary page how FABULOUS yes I shouted!!! Congratulations on so many wonderful years together, here’s to many more of those happy times… Take care & stay ever creative. Happy WoywW Tracey #5 xx
It’s good to see you joining in the fun. I love all your latest creations especially the card you made for your parents…that really is something to celebrate.

Hi Marit, well done taking the number one spot this week! Love the card you created for your parents, I bet they loved it too and they certainly won’t have had another one the same will they? Your job sounds really interesting, I’m intrigued. Have a great week. Annie C #17
Hi Marit. Congratulations to your parents. 58 years – brilliant. I just love the idea of that card for them!! Glad you have been doing lots of bits and pieces. It’s strange, isn’t it, we seem to have more time, with different weekly and work patterns, and yet we still seem to have less time! How does that work? No idea!!!
Take care. God bless.

Hey Marit! Lovely to see you again. I adore the card for your parents, they must’ve loved it.
The wavy blue and green page is beautiful too.
I’m curious about your job, playing with Japanese paper sounds wonderful.
Stay safe and happy WOYWW
Wow! I love the card for your parents. What fun. As ever your Chronicles are inspiring. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#11)
I love your very original card! And for many years we only ever watched TdF as our sport on TV. To be fair hubby was very much in to cycling himself at the time. It’s been years. And I admire your tidy desk. I am consumed with envy – you’ll get that if you see mine LOL!
Happy WOYWW!

Hi Marit! Have fun at “work” – it does sound like the ideal job for a paper lover artist! Love how chunky your chronicles journal is on your desk and it looks like a fun technique to paint over the faces of magazine images! Have a happy week and enjoy your days off! zsuzsa #20
Hi Marit, oh my, what a fabulous card for your parents, and what an amazing achievement 58 years of marriage is. Love the journals, such vibrant colours in the Tour de France one. Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #4 X

Hi Marit, that card for your parents is amazing, so much fun, I’m sure they enjoyed it. Your desk looks tidy despite all you have on it. Mine would look so untidy. Love the pages for your art journal. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #29
Hello lovely, how good to see you! I love the card for your parents, and extend very best wishes to them, 58 years is quite something! Bet it’s nice tone back at work, I hope it’s possible to stay safe and distant even in your restoration atelier, I must say it does sound an ideal job for you!
Hi Marit, loving the card for your parents and I bet it made them smile. You always have such a tidy desk just wish I could have one too or maybe I do a couple of times a year. Well done at keeping up to date with the journal pages too. Wishing you a happy and creative woyww, Angela x15x

Hello, Marit! Your desk is so neat! I so aspire to get my workdesk in order. What a lovely and fun card you created for your parents! TFS your space. I love how you labeled everything in the picture. I had to take a look around your blog and found your Top 2000 posts. Wow! What an amazing collaboration you’ve created! Finding new inspiration is what I love best about WOYWW. See ya around!
Inky hugs,
Angela #35
That anniversary card for your parents is fabulous!
And I always like to see your chronicles – love your faces – and this week the Tour De France one!
Happy woyww, Susan #14
Happy Belated WOYWW. Wonderful to see you back in WOYWW World! I have missed your very neat and labelled desk photos. Your job does sound so interesting. Loving the journal pages and the very clever anniversary card. I am a big cycling fan, and have been glued to the tv for the TDF too. I am not usually very excited by the time trials, but that Saturday was definitely very exciting. Looking forward to the Giro and the Vualta next. I love the scenery, as well as the cycling. Nice to see you back, Marit. I am glad you are OK. That card for your mum and dad is hilarious!!! I bet they were highly amused! I love your journal page too – another sultry bald head – very different and atmospheric. Your desk always looks so calm and airy.
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi x #12
Your blog is always so interesting and colourful – I love your pages, and the card for your parents is fabulous, I hope they had a wonderful anniversary. I bet card raised a smile!
Have a good week,

Thank you for your return visit, Marit, and especially for your commiserations regarding our wall. You are right – really bad behaviour of that driver. I’m really glad you liked my outfit this week – two gifts from friends, several years apart, but I think they were made for each other!
