Chronicles – Weeks 1, 2 & 3

Monday morning and yet another week has gone by… time flies and I find myself in week 5 of the year, working on the ‘week 4 spread’ in my Chronicles art journal. I spend a lot of time in my atelier last week, hitting the turbo mode and creating all kind of stuff (like Zentangling… that’s a contradiction isn’t it, to zentangle in ‘turbo mode,’ but I do!)

There were three art journals open on my desk last weekend and I moved from one to another, adding paint, spray ink, doodles… in the evening I took my small zentangle journal to the living room and curled up on the couch, doodling away. Oh, and I watched old Star Trek movies (there were five on TV last week!)

I also re-discovered the Art Journal ning community Art Journaling – It’s all good! that I signed up for years ago. It was nice to visit that on line community after all that time and viewing all the art journal pages made by different artists in the photo gallery. Together with the art shown in The Documented Life group it  was almost too much inspiration! (I took notes. My ‘inspiration list’ – things I want to try and create in the future – is waaaay long now!)

I’ll be back on Wednesday with a photo of my desk. I’m curious myself what I will find there and what I will be working on two days from now. Considering the creative state I am in right now, it might well be something new that even I don’t know of yet…
