Last week’s 11th anniversary of WOYWW was a great succes and I managed to visit every participant in the list, all 46 blogposts! I don’t know if I can do that this week, visit you all I mean, but I hope to visit at least the deskers who comment on this post.
Here’s my desk this morning… things that are waiting to be finished. To the left is a vague pencil sketch on the page and my Chronicles spread is halfway… I purchased new materials last week and I need those to finish these pages. The sketch is awaiting for fine micron pens/markers and I need rice-paper to go on the Chronicles spread. I thought the package would be here righ now (I ordered it last Friday) but I received an email it will be delivered this afternoon. Oh, never mind – I’ve got other projects I can work on so I won’t get bored 😉
And here’s a spread I created last week
The Chronicles of Marit 2020 – Week 20
My son and his girlfriend received the face masks I made (I sewed two masks each, ’cause they travel by public transport more often and as of June 1, facemasks are required when you travel by bus or train in the Netherlands.)
And my friend Lena mailed me a funny column that I wanted to preserve – that’s why I taped an extra strip to this week’s page.
And that’s all for today sweeties, hope you have a great week. Hang in there, keep safe and enjoy the little things of life (… like a tasty oven dish, for example. Our new oven came yesterday! It’s been over 2 years that I had an oven so there will probably be cake and chicken piri-piri this week!)

Your Chronicles pages are always interesting to look at – the photos of your son and his partner are a great way to remind you of what these crazy times were like. Hope you enjoy the chicken Piri Piri!

Your art journal pages look amazing and what a great photo with you all wearing the new masks. This is certainly an event that needs to be captured in your journal. Stay safe as you create.

Hi Marit! I love your art journalling! I’m sure the face masks went down very well. I AM worried about you though – I hate thinking of people waiting for precious craft supplies and I fear they will combust. Please let us know you are okay! Best wishes, Lisa-Jane #23

Hi Marit!
Great spreads. I hope to make more time for art journaling once the studio is done. I’ll save you a stop this week. I’m dealing with a personal security issue so no desk for me. I’m just catching up from last week. LOL Creative Blessings & Hugs! ~Kelly

Thank goodness in your country they have realised that masks are a sensible option. My hubby and I have worn them all the time when shopping or visiting my parents to deliver their shopping. It makes sense to me but our country dare not tell people to do that as they haven’t even had enough for the hospitals though it is getting better. We got ours from Tool Station where my hubby gets all his DIY stuff but of course they have been closed for ages. Unusually they are made in the UK. I absolutely love your home made masks they are great and bet they were well received too. Wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x19x

I love your chronicles, Marit! I used to do my journals like that years ago, and sometimes I want to go back to it. I seem to have gone in a different direction these days! Oh well, have a great week, thanks for your visit last week, sorry to have taken so long to get back to you! Lindart #33

Thank you for your return visit, Marit. I have been known to unpick whole knitting projects too! The UFO that I am currently working on (not the purple circles one) is turning out to be worse than I thought as I didn’t make it very well all those years ago! Still hoping I can remedy it without having to redo the whole thing! Thank you for your good wishes for our anniversary.
