Goodmorning lovely ones – another week flew by! A week with a lot of wind and a bit of rain, but today is a lovely day – you can see that on the photo my friend Lena took when she arrived at her workplace here in Middelburg early this morning.

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart.
Yep, that’s the same blue sky I can see right now, and my beloved and I will take the bus to the seashore today to go for a long walk.
But first , let me show you some things I created lately
The Chronicles of Marit – Week 4
The man’s face on this spread is Mathieu van der Poel, an amazing cyclist – he won (almost) all cyclo-crosses this season and I look forward to the first road-race (starting at the end of the month) to see if he manages to win those too! Besides this art journal spread, I created two more spreads in my Chronicles art journal but I save them for another time, I don’t want to overload this blogpost. I do, however, want to show you the little piece I created for my son and daughter-in-law…
Mixed media face
And that’s it for today. I need to wash and dress (still in my pj’s!) and go out to smell the roses… uhrm, daffodils… uhrm, salty sea.
Have a lovely day you; go out to smell!
Je t’embrasse
Hello dear Marit! Thank you for these delights, including Lena’s photo! I have some daffodils in a vase and will think of you when I look at them. They are so beautiful, these little golden trumpets that herald new life! I so love seeing your journal pages and art making. Thank you for sharing them with us! Enjoy your weekend!
It appears that the daffodils are looking out over the water. A lovely scene expressed in words.
Gorgeous image and haiku. Thanks for dropping by my sumie Sunday today, Marit
Much❤love
Ah yes.I will smell the beginnings of blooms on my jasmine tree. The bees are already buzzing it.
