Daily drawing: Quick Drawings #12 – #18

Good morning lovelies… it’s been a while since I wrote a blogpost but I did go on with making a quick drawing every day… that means there are 13 sketches I haven’t shown you yet… eeeck! That’s way too much to publish in one post, don’t you think? So today I show you only a part. The challenge ends at the end of the week (one month, April, of every day sketches = 30 drawings in total) and I will show you the rest of the drawings during the weeks after.

Day 12: Your spirit animal.
(My siprit animal is a badger – not the easiest animal to draw but I found a drawing on the internet, made by Sean Briggs, and used that as a reference… find his sketch, which is much better than mine, here.

Day 13: Song lyrics
(I picked “Country Girl” – Neil Young)

Day 14: Historical figure
(I drew Michiel de Ruyter, a naval hero, after a statue that stands in Vlissingen – where de Ruyter was born. Not my best drawing but hey, I tried!)

Day 15: Guilty Pleasure
(Playing Zelda-video games on the Nintendo 64 – yep, a ‘golden oldie’, both the game as well as the Nintendo device!)

(Although there isn’t much wrong with this portrait I didn’t succeed… ’cause I bet nobody recognizes the person I tried to draw… Dr. Reid from the tv-series “Criminal Minds”)
