Weeks fly by and what did I do? Well, I can read that in my Chronicles…! You foreign (English) followers of course cannot read it because I write in Dutch. I am a reader myself, and when I see art journal pages, I always try to read the journaling. Since I read English, I mostly can but there are pages that I cannot read too (in Swedish, for example, or Spanish.) Even then I start reading to see if I can recognize or figure out some of the words.
In week 21 I decided to add a note-paper to my weekly page with something that I’ve been willing to keep track of for a while… you must know, when I wake up in the morning I always have a song in my head. Every day. I don’t know where that comes from. Well, sometimes it’s obvious (I heard the song on TV/Radio just before I went to bed) but most of the time the melody comes out of the blue. Songs I don’t even like too… like yesterdaymorning (“Lady in Red” – Chris De Burgh; such a dull song!) This morning, I woke up with the line “Life is a Rollercoaster just gotta ride it” – Ronan Keating (but I mentioned a similar phrase to my beloved yesterday evening, so having this song on my mind was relevant.)
In week 21 I jotted the lines down every morning to put the list in my art journal. I might do that again every now and then…. it’s fun to see which melodies accompany my mornings… and the list is something my English-reading friends can read too!

The Chronicles of Marit 2015 – Week 22
(No song-list here… although I did make notes of ‘my songs’ this week, the list did not fit onto this page)
Am I weird, waking up with a melody in the morning? Are there any other persons waking up with a song every day? I’d love to know!
P.S.

Thanks Bea, comments like yours make my day!
I always have songs in my head. That’s why I used to have a good music player on my blog. The one i have now is not so good. And I don’t keep my blog up like I used to, but I still got the music in me.
