Collages
Last September, I joined the Special Agent Collage Collective. I completed a mission to the satisfaction of the Head Quarters (where agent 001 holds sway) and received my membership card short after. I am officially known as Special Agent 074.
I thought I’d show you the collage I created to become a member but it’s nowhere on my blog, so I guess I only put it on Insta then… This was the mission I completed: “Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to create a smiling collage and leave it in a public place. Materials are not provided for this mission, and it is up to you to decide what constitutes a smiling collage.”
I created a card and left it in the abbey corridor in Middelburg
(Later I got a thank you email from a woman who’d found my little art piece and took it home with her – niceee!)
Because I stepped into the collective later, we’re at mission #8 already… and here’s what this latest mission says: “Your mission is to celebrate a single color with a dazzling monochrome collage.”
I created a series of three mini collages in blues (appr. 3 x 4,5 inch – 9 x 11 cm each)
Here’s the stand-alone collage photos:
Haiku
Because I was all into ‘blue’ I searched for a photo that had blue in it to write a haiku with… and found one that Lena took in October last year.
Dicht tegen het duin. Een eigenwijs strandhokje weet niet van wijken. |
Against the dune a stubborn little beach hut doesn’t want to budge |

I submit this haiku to Haiku my Heart
I hope you don’t feel blue, and have a wonderful, colorful day/weekend.

Ha Marit, a smiling collage, wat een heerlijke opdracht. Jij maakte er iets moois van. Lucky lady die het kaartje vond!
Niet blue zijn hoor..het wordt weer groen en kleurig op de grond.
Liefs, Jenny

i love the idea of creating little gems and leaving them in life to be discovered. Bravo for joining this creative group and becoming an agent of collage wonderment! Perfect to follow your blue inspiration of collage fragments and arrive at a Blue themed haiku. So GOOD!!!
