It’s been weeks… months since I wrote a haiku, due to life circumstances (see former post.) I am walking a tightrope, maintaining a precarious balance, but gradually I am entering calmer waters, so when my brother sent me the following comment + photo, I ventured into writing a haiku.
“Try to make a Friday haiku on this one 😆”

Now that I am writing a post, I take the opportunity to show you the next art journal spreads in my Grandes Chaleurs” journal (11.7 x 8.3″ – 29,5 x 21 cm).
I created this one back in February already but had not show it yet
Grandes Chaleurs art journal: “this was personal” (Februari 2026)
The first time back in my atelier; after weeks of stress, worry, sadness and grief over the death of my mother; I created this spread. (The poem on this spread is written by my mum, Johanna Kruit, who was a writer and poet.)
Grandes Chaleurs art journal: “where is everybody?” (August 2026)
