Friday haiku: Dandelion

May 6, 2022 By Marit 7 Comments

Friday haiku

Paardenbloempluisjes
Halsstarrig houden ze zich
vast aan de basis
Dandelion fluff
stubbornly cling to the base
they keep holding on

Your haiku speaks to why I must love dandelions ~ they are strong and courageous and beautiful ~ Xo

    Happy Mother’s Day to you,

Wishing you good health, laughter and love,

They truly are a tenacious little plant! I have started harvesting the dandelion leaves that I know welcome into my garden and add them to my salads and cooking. Eventually… all those wishes… will fly out into the world. Thanks to you both for this beauty!

this photo is gorgeous! luminous! fragile and strong! thank for a lovely haiku that somehow lifts my heart in all the most profound ways.
hugs from the mountains of Arizona where the resident squirrels have feasted on all the dandelions-flowers stems and leaves!

May we all spread love the way dandelions spread their fluff!

Dear Marit, to your question regarding the newsletter and haiku duplication: I enjoy the newsletter and the haikus. I don’t always have time to link to your blog and so the email newsletter lets me read what you’ve got to share without having to link. I don’t mind it at all. I look forward to your newsletter and the haikus. Thank you for sharing whatever you have to say. Love your art and your musings! ❤️

My favorite flower as a child. I always want to ride the wind with the dandelion.
