Goodmorning lovely ones – I am back with a haiku today. The photo is made by my friend Lena Schreijenberg
Friday haiku
windstille morgen de oude molen krijgt plots een extra dag vrij |
day without wind an unexpected day off for the old windmill |
I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart.
It’s Summer in the Netherlands and I spend my days being lazy. I wander around the house or I hook up with people I haven’t seen in a while. I also spend an afternoon with my parents. We drove to a small village near the water where my dad and I sat on a dyke and sketched. Some of you may have seen these drawings on my Facebook page or in the newsletter, but I had not published them on my blog yet.
These sketches perfectly picture the languor of a warm summer afternoon.
I wish you days like that!
Je t’embrasse.
Your sketches are absolutely wonderful! As is your haiku. A windless day is felt in your words.
Oh, your words, image and your sketches Marit! How I love your part of the world and the beauty it radiates on this windless day! Thank you my friend!
Lovely haiku and beautiful watercolor paintings ~ divine artwork!
Happy Day to You,
