good morning and thank you for keeping the haiku fire burning while my life has been a dark mountain of loss and grief. i’m ready to sit quietly in this pre dawn and listen for each birds song. i’m ready to unbundle my bruised heart and sing. maybe this is truly being “awake”- thank you for the comfort of knowing you have stayed by my side even through the darkest night. xo
