Friday haiku: Western Scheldt

May 7, 2021 By Marit 4 Comments

Friday haiku

Er drijft nog een bui
boven de Westerschelde
ook dat gaat voorbij
A shower lingers
overhead the Western Scheldt
that too will pass

The photo is taken by Lena Schreijenberg
I submit this haiku to Haiku my Heart

Thanks for stopping by,
Je t’embrasse

Oh… how I long for rain and coolness. I feel it in the roll of your haiku and in the beauty of Lena’s photo. Thank you Marit, for this drink for my heart and soul.

How welcome that shower would be here in the Desert Southwest!
