Goodmorning sweeties, how are y’all doing? Still healthy and safe I hope. Are you bored yet? I know of a lot of people who get bored after almost three weeks of isolation (and the end is not in sight yet, in the Netherlands we have to stay in self isolation at least until April 28.) The province of Zeeland also announced an emergency decree: tourists are not allowed to stay the night over in Zeeland. In normal years, Zeeland and the coast line overflows with tourist and because there are just a few hospitals in the region, there would be too many people to help if they get Corona… the province is very quiet now. Local people are allowed to go out to do the grocery shopping, walk the dog or go for a short stroll but I stay inside or on my balcony as much as possible. My beloved is the one who does the shopping. Who also goes out for a walk, usually (very) early in the morning, is my friend Lena and she still takes the most beautiful photos. Today I choose this one to write a haiku with.

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart
This spread was half-finished on my desk last Wednesday (see this post) and I didn’t like it very much. I wrote: “the spread needs journaling and I hope that will lift up the image.” I think it did ’cause I like this spread now!
The Chronicles of Marit 2020 – Week 13
The sun is shining, the weekend will bring Spring weather and high(er) temperatures and the plants on my balcony are green and happy… I hope to spend both time on my balcony catching sunrays as well as in my atelier, playing with paper and paint. Whatever your plans are for the weekend: enjoy and be careful, keep it safe!
