My friend Lena lives in a small village nearby – the same village I was born and grew up. I know Lena since I was in the same class as her sister with whom I went to elementery school – that’s almost fifty years ago now. Lena and I shared our childhood thoughts and dreams, we swooned over the same ‘idols’ (The Bay City Rollers *gulp*) and although we went seperate ways after school, we never lost track of each other. It’s kinda special to have a friend that knows you in and out for all those years…
Lena goes for long walks on ‘the island’ and she makes these wonderful photos! I posted one of these photos that I wrote a haiku with a few weeks ago here and today, again, I wrote a haiku with one of her photos. I feel a “Friday Lena & Marit collaboration” coming…

Don’t you just love the Autumn ‘mood’ on this photo?
I might take a bus to the seaside today myself…
I submit today’s haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share haiku on this Friday event Haiku my Heart.

A ShutterBug Explores
Yes, I do! As well as your collaboration and the years you share with this beautiful place on earth. The color and the empty bases to beckon us to the change in the season… lovely Marit and Lena!
Sometimes desolation is an invitation to a deeper life.
A great combination as a look into autumn.
Lovely collaboration
much love…
