I am still drawing!!!
Yes, dear ones, I managed to keep up with the ‘daily drawing prompts’ – the challenge that Roxanne Coble (By Bun) hosts. It’s an easy challenge – you just take the ‘word of the day’ that she provides as inspiration to draw. You can use whatever material you like. Here are Roxanne’s prompts:
I prepared 30 pages of an old book by painting a thin layer of gesso over it, and I use a soft pencil for the drawings. I call it ‘quick drawings’ as I usually don’t spend much more than 15 minutes on a drawing. That way I know changes are the best to keep up with it.
Here are the drawings I made since Wednesday.
7. Crystal
(the ‘crystal’ drawing looks more like a mountain to me – however, I used a small piece of crystal as a reference. Here’s a photo of it.)
8. Something from the sea
9. Urban legend – in Dutch that is called “Monkey Sandwich” {Broodje Aap}
10. Insect
And here’s the drawing I made today during lunch… can you tell this was an extra quick drawing? I wanted to eat my sandwich (cheese on wholewheat bread) instead of drawing it!
11. Something you ate today
Thanks for your visit sweeties, I’ll be back with my ‘artist desk photo’ post on Wednesday. See you then!

Lieve groet.
