It has been two months since I wrote on my blog that I was about to move… two months in which my beloved and I worked hard to get our new place ready. Two months in which we packed our stuff and one day at the end of March we moved houses.
In April, our days were filled with unpacking and cleaning. Every little item that came out of a box was cleaned and found it’s place in our new home. We are not finished yet but we already unpacked A LOT!
My new atelier isn’t completely put in order yet but the computer is connected to the internet so I’m back online, HI THERE!
And here’s a photo I took standing on the balcony on the first morning I woke up in the new home – early morning sun shining on ‘De Lange Jan’ (this church/tower is called “Long John”)
Today, it’s a few weeks later than I took that photo, only the top of the tower is visible ’cause the tree got leaves… yep, it’s Spring, we no longer live in a large, cold, impersonal, greay concrete apartment block but in a nice little appartment in the centre of the old, medieval city centre and I can’t get that grin from my face!
Hope to talk to you again soon, have a great weekend.

Hoi Marit

What a quaint view, I can almost breath the fresh air that I see surrounded by the old town.
Thank you for sharing again WOYWW and pointing me here to a room with a view..
