Hi there lovelies! It’s been ten weeks since I joined WOYWW but I have the afternoon off of work so I dived into my atelier, took a pic of my workdesk and here I am! I look forward to visit some of you deskers to see how you’re doing and I want to finish that art journal spread that’s on my desk so I better keep this blogpost pretty short…
Philatelic Collage
Last year I joined the Special Agent Collage Collective. I am officially known as Special Agent 074 and I love the missions that Head Quarters send out… for example this one: “Your mission is to create an analog collage ON a postage stamp (not an artist stamp). This means a tiny collage.”
I found a sheet of postage stamps at a flee market, picturing paintings that hang in the van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. I managed to make collages on all three stamps but it was pretty difficult to create that small!
I hope you liked seeing me and my workdesk again and I plan on visiting ‘the workdesk gang’ in the following days. Enjoy your day!
It was even longer between visits for me, Marit. I always love seeing what is on your desk. You have a lot more brayers than I have.
Ah, those stamps. Your collages are simply incredible. S0 incredibly creative. I have a friend who makes Postage People from postage stamp faces. Yours is even more creative than that. Happy WOYWW from # 1.
Your tiny stamp collages are so beautiful, Marit!
I’ve been to Amsterdam once, for a conference, but next time I definitely want to visit the Van Gogh museum.
Take care and happy WOYWW
Hugs

Good to see you this week no matter how many since you last joined! Super collage with the stamps; well done!! Helen #2
So good to see you Marit – boy that is some tiny collaging for sure. Glad you have found another creative group to get involved with. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah#3
Hi Marit. I’m having a quick trip round now I’m back from the show. I love your collage pages so much. I just wish I could get a hang of it. Wishing you a happy belated woyww, Angela x11x
Your stamp collages are just brilliant. Very much my sort of thing – well, to see and admire, less so making :D. I did do a couple of surreal collage items for the ICAD challenge (funnily enough on my blog today and tomorrow) so weirdly serendipitous! Always wonderful to see you here and to admire your work!
Happy (late, cause I was knitting) WOYWW!

Your collages are amazing. I am doing collages on index cards (3×5 inches) and I was thinking they were not big enough. Well don Special Agent 074. Happy WOYWW. Angela #14
Love what you did with the stamps, so tiny!!! Hugs BJ#6
Wow, Marit, 3 x 4 cams and you still pull of a mini masterpiece..so clever. Is it wrong to want more of these from you?!! Hope you enjoyed your afternoon off!
I am so happy that you joined the Special Agent Collage Collective! Your stamps are wonderful little collages, and the fact that you incorporated them into one of your journal spreads gives them a creative ‘home’. Andrea, who runs the collective, lives not far away and I see her when I attend the meetings of our Northwest Collage Society. She is an amazing artist and individual! Many of the pieces in her collages are attached to the substrate by sewing rather than gluing. I have just signed up (as of yesterday) for one of the new missions—Mission 15–which is an “add and pass” mission involving multiple artists working on the same collages. Are you joining that mission as well? It’s open to all current SACC agents. I would love to be in your group! I was sorry to here about your issues with the muscle in your your leg and hope that you are feeling much better. Enjoy your ‘easy-going’ summer!
I live how the stamps came out. Very clever.
