Good morning lovelies, are you still out there? I’m sorry I haven’t been online or posting lately… the nasty cold that I told you about still has a hold on me. I’m soaring, like the character on the card I made, but in my case it is not because of my wings (they hang floppy beside my body) but because of the snot and the Paracetamol that I take to keep this cold under control. It is a persistent virus but I feel a little better every day now so I thought it was time to give you an update.
First: Did you see the announcement of the new workshop that I teach with Jenny de Bode?
And next: I wasn’t thát ill so I spend quite some hours in my atelier.. creating in slow motion 🙂 I made some fun collages, inspired by a stack of new (old) magazines I laid my hands on. It’s a fun thing to work on when your head isn’t all too clear… flipping through magazines, cutting out images and putting them together. Here’s some of the things I created.

Spread in my “Miscellaneous” Art Journal
I can’t get enough of collage so there’s been a new spread in the make as we speak… and what are you up to these days? I hope it’s something bright, colorful and fun.
Love all the winged goodness, lovely one.amazing collages! I hope this virus flies away very very soon too.
Sending hugs across the miles…❤
So happy that your wings are doing better now… your art shows that your getting better ♥
Wishing you too a wonderful, colorful and creative weekend!!
So nice to see this post, Marit, and hear that you are feeling better! Love both
of the cards for your parents. Really nice distraction to be able to (and feel well enough to) create when one is feeling “under the weather!”
Deze vind ik wel heel geweldig, vooral met die tekst erbij!
